Having grown up in Jacksonville and Ponte Vedra, Jessica Shearer has never had a desire to leave. She’s happy to help other people make a home in the area, and eager to serve as their guide. “I know all the great places to go and things to do,” she says.

Jessica traces her fascination with Florida real estate to her grandparents, who were both in the business. She has fond memories of going to the county office with them to search deeds. “I know they are smiling down watching me following in their footsteps,” she says.

Along with a lifetime of knowledge of the local market, Jessica’s personal experience is ideal for a real estate professional. Her bachelor’s degree in elementary education included reading endorsement and special education, and her talent as a teacher transfers well to her real estate relationships. She’s a patient, active listener, a skilled communicator, and a self-motivated go-getter who likes to take the initiative and make good things happen for her clients, whether they are buyers, sellers, or investors.

When Jessica’s not at work, she’s still busy being the wife to Matthew and the mom of two boys and two Rhodesian Ridgebacks. On her own time, she enjoys reading, kayaking, and baking.
